Senior Banquet
Friday, May 9, – 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. - $30
Saratoga Hilton, Downtown Saratoga Springs
Join your classmates for an elegant evening of dinner and dancing. This year’s Senior Banquet will be held at the Saratoga Hilton on Broadway in Saratoga Springs New York. Dress is semi-formal. Jeans, baseball hats, t-shirts, and sneakers are not appropriate. The Saratoga Hilton will have a beer/wine cash bar. Servers have been asked to serve one drink per person at a time. Hard liquor drinks, shots, bottles of wine and pitchers of beer have been prohibited.
The event ends at the conclusion of the banquet. Buses will depart from the Saratoga Hilton following the banquet at 10:00PM to bring those interested students back to RPI. For those students interested in spending the evening in downtown Saratoga, courtesy shuttles will be provided at 12:00AM, 2:00AM and 3:30AM. Additional courtesy shuttles will be available to bring students from RPI to Saratoga at 11:15PM and 1:00AM. If you miss a bus, please call a taxi to come home.
Six Flags Great Adventure - New Jersey - $35
Saturday, May 10 – Bus departs 8 a.m.
A day of fun in the largest Six Flags in the country! Enjoy rides like the Superman, Kingda Ka, and the Twister. A continental breakfast will be provided on the bus and you will receive a ticket good for a meal at several park vendors. Buses will leave in front of the Rensselaer Union promptly at 8:00 A.M.
Zero Year Reunion Brunch and Awards Celebration - $5
Monday, May 12 – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
AS & RC Armory Gym
Come partake in a campus-wide brunch with members of our graduating class and the Rensselaer community. This event will honor our outstanding achievements and mark our entrance into the Rensselaer Alumni Family. The reception and induction will include: remarks by the President, a congratulatory toast by Provost Palazzo, and the announcements of the Willie Stanton, Livingston Houston and Leopold L Balleisen Prize for outstanding achievements of our classmates by Dr. Knowles. In addition, the Class Banner and Class Gift will be presented.
Captain J.P. Cruise on the Hudson - $40
Tuesday, May 13 – 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Must be 21 years or older to attend-must have legal ID to board the boat.
Relax and enjoy a night cruise down the Hudson. Enjoy sunset with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. The cruise will have plenty of music, dancing, and excitement. Buses for the Cruise will leave from the Rensselaer Union Horseshoe promptly at 6:30pm. Buses will return to campus following the Cruise. For liability reasons, you must go to and from the school on the buses provided.
BBQ and Graduation Rehearsal - $8
Wednesday, May 14th - 11am – 2 p.m.
BBQ – Rensselaer Union
Graduation Rehearsal – Houston Field House- 3 p.m.
